Jon burgerman came into burton college and spoke to our class about his work and what inspired him to make work the way that he does. He makes what seems to be doodles, these have been very popular as he has made things such as colour in wall paper and bags and other merchandise which has been really affective. he uses all different colours in each of his "doodles" sometimes he just uses 3-4 colours or sometimes he uses a lot of different colours. i prefer the "doodles" which have lots of colours in them this makes them bright and eye catching. his work takes hours to produce as he has to draw the out line of all the characters and then he has to colour them all in i think his work is different to anything i have seen before and that is why i think it is so popular.
